Reviews are the life blood of authors!

If we have produced something that you have enjoyed reading it is good to know that our work has given pleasure!

Word of mouth and recommendation are still the best selling tools and we need to spread our work to as wide an audience as we can so whilst we apply ourselves to social media and other marketing ploys, reader recommendations are

still invaluable.

So please, tell your friends, recommend us to reading groups, post a review on Amazon ~ it will be so much appreciated!

Thoughtful view of the coronavirus pandemic through the eyes of a surprising array of characters, almost as if the author knew them all personally. Obviously has excellent perception skills. Enjoyable read, despite the subject.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life in the time of coronavirus

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 May 2020

This is a cleverly written and concise diary of a village experiencing life in the time of the first wave of the Covid 19 pandemic. The characters are vividly portrayed with all their foibles and fears. Some find strength they never knew they had. Others are more vulnerable, with tragic consequences.
It left me wanting to know more about these people as their lives continued with all the various changes, compromises and consequences which were unfolding. Fortunately, a sequel, Assassin on the Run," is also available. Both are thoroughly recommended.

This is the sequel to Invisible Assassin which first introduced many of these residents of a Devon village, all dealing with the experience of the coronavirus pandemic in various ways. For some it has turned out to be an opportunity for a fresh look at what is important to them, whereas for others the outcome is more tragic. They continue to adapt to their new circumstances in this second book, none of them quite sure what the future holds. We journey with them as they find out how their lives have changed. So well written and engaging. Definitely recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A worthy follow up

I do enjoy the characters, as I live in a Devon Village it is even more relevant. It really moves with the spread of the virus and how it affects each person differently, some thriving in lockdown and others who sadly don't.

5.0 out of 5 stars Who will be best equipped to adapt to the new normal?

Produced with appropriate urgency during these unique times, this third bulletin from the frontline of the coronawar lives up to its two predecessors. Whilst further developing the stories of the characters first introduced in Invisible Assassin, it also involves some new and rather unsavoury people in the evolving storyline. There are always some who see opportunity in every disaster, it seems. Are these less attractive human traits going to be allowed to triumph over the vulnerabilities of their neighbours?
This series of books is a testament to the way creativity can flourish in times of adversity. I am left wondering how things will turn out for these folk and indeed all of us.

5.0 out of 5 stars History book of the Future

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 June 2020

The third in a series of books about everyday village people who have to adapt to an unseen enemy the Covid-19 virus and a bungling Government at the time.
Rosy Teales writing skills really make you feel like you are living these families lives and makes you wanting more.
Documenting the everyday lives and problems will I'm sure make them History books of the future (life in 2020).
A very enjoyable read.

Another thoroughly absobing episode in the chronicle of a community navigating the unfamiliar world created by the coronavirus pandemic. Much as we cannot guess how the health challenge will continue to affect the world and for how long, I am left wondering if this is the last we have heard of these characters. Time will tell! In the meantime all four parts, (so far), are thoroughly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A tale for our times continues

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 August 2020 Verified Purchase

A new format has been adopted for this fifth book in the gripping coronawars series and how apt that is for a period when almost every aspect of life has had to adapt in order to continue. This blog style of writing is introspective and ideal for sharing honest disclosures about people. Spending time with your own thoughts is a common experience just now for so many people experiencing unprecedented periods of isolation. Each character is able to reflect on their own experience of living through the 2020 pandemic and share confidences about the way their lives seem to be going. Various hints are dropped as to what might lie ahead, but of course nothing can be taken for granted!
Rosy Teale's inventive mind has given us another great read but once again the way is left open for a further instalment of this English community saga.
