The characters in the Coronawar series won't go away and leave me alone! I thought I wrapped things up quite neatly in Merciless Assassin but there is definitely scope for the backstories of some of these characters to be told. As I have been writing the Coronawar blog, giving each of the characters their voice and their personal slant on events it has made me think that there is real potential in this idea although I think it is going to be a harder book to write as I won't have the backdrop of the pandemic to move things along. Meanwhile here is the link to today's post from Jacquie Frost. She didn't come across as a particularly sympathetic character in the books and was very much in the background until Merciless Assassin. It may be that she is simply insecure and therefore defensive; or, of course, she could just be shallow and self centred. What do you think? https://minisopaopera.blogspot.com/2020/07/appearances-can-be-deceptive.html
