Lockdown - not all bad news!

It's funny how things happen. I wrote a poem about the Covid-19 virus and put a video of me reading it on You Tube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGxrZmRZv_I&t=2s I then decided it might be fun to write about different characters in a small community and the impact the threat of the virus had on their lives. I sent it out in serial form for something to do as much as anything else especially as people were scouting round for something new to read. So I posted it via Facebook and emailed those who were interested but weren't on Facebook. It really took off! It was all I could do to keep up and I had great feedback so hence Invisible Assassin was born and I published it on Amazon. Then as the news developed so my backdrop presented itself for Assassin On The Run and with the momentum continuing, The Assassin Bites Back and Merciless Assassin were born and published. I had been threatening to publish on Amazon for a long time and because these books were so contemporary and topical, this was the push I needed. I have also published three other books that I had written some years ago and I have three books that are ready to go and two others to be edited for publication.

Of course, I also have cobwebs Miss Haversham would be proud of as I have been writing virtually to the exclusion of all else as my two dogs will testify. But it can't be a bad thing to be productive - lockdown hasn't all been bad news!
