Welcome to my world of character driven fiction!

My name is Rosy Teale and I write character driven fiction generally with women in mind although I do have some men amongst my readers who enjoy my work.

I have always written - stories, poems even a song as I am a classically trained pianist. I have always been an avid reader from a very early age and whilst I am impatient to get to the end of a book to find out what happens, I also then feel a little bereft as the characters have been a part of my life and when the story ends they aren't any more.

That is one reason why I often write a series of books featuring familiar characters or at the very least manage a sequel. I actually had no plans to write a sequel to The Last Taboo but readers asked for one and once the idea came to me writing Moving On developing the stories of the characters came quite easily.

Equally, when I began writing Invisible Assassin about diverse characters in a small community trying to deal with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, I originally thought I was only writing one book but have so far published four on Amazon.  Feedback from readers was that they were befriending the characters and wanted to know more about them and how their own personal dramas were panning out against the background of the challenges shared the world over.

I have several titles published on Amazon in both Ebook and paperback format and there is plenty more to come. I always ask that readers leave reviews on Amazon as reviews are the lifeblood of authors. Equally I like to be in touch with my readers so whilst I feature on Goodreads I am also happy to hear from readers in a more direct way so email rosyteale@gmail is the most direct route.

Being published on Amazon gives me an Author Page at Amazon Author Central where you will see all my books currently available and a little biography which tells you a bit about me. I like to keep my characters real so that readers can identify with them, recognise others in them, laugh with and at them, cry with them and care about them. I think if you get to know a bit about me you get a sense of where some of these characters might come from.

When I write I am inhabiting the world of my characters and like to think that readers have a similar experience!

You are never alone when you have a book.

When you have a book you have a friend.
